... comes along only at certain times of the year! This one had something to do with that bastard deluded fictional child that believes he can wield the power of magic - or for the less synical, Harry Potter! But I get ahead of myself... we havn't even covered the events of Friday yet!
No, for Friday was the day I returned from the Grandparents, as lovely as they are, that was enough! Well in my infinite wisdom, I decided that it would be a good idea to go and sit in the garden and read The Da Vinci Code (which, for arguments sake, is possibly one of the best books i've ever read! especially as I don't read!). Well this would have been all well and good if I hadn't made two vital mistakes...
1> Not wearing a shirt
2> Applying some extremely shit low-factor suncream
The result... lobster torso! Now red I wouldn't mind... I can live with that... no, it's the fact that I still (we're on Tuesday here people) feel like I'm cooking! My poor shoulders are burnt to a crisp! So much pain.. there's only a few items of clothing that I can actually bare to wear at the moment! (unfortunatly my work shirts come under this category - buggerit)
Well that made getting up and going to work for 7:30 Saturday morning... interesting! What I couldn't get over was the fact that there were actually people in shopping at that point! ARE THESE PEOPLE MAD??!!?!?!?! Aparently so...! Well the day, despite the selling much bookage, was rather wierd. We had some new staff in... amd OMG they actually employed human beings this time! :O *shock/horror* Also had a few bouts of the "what the fuck am I doing here" syndrome often associated with work! Especially when the management started whinging about things that had nothing to do with me.. and of course, not letting me get on with things that I should be doing! But.. meh!
Sunday was pretty uneventful, bar the mad woman who decided to complain about the baloons because they aparently scared her little girl *boo-hoo*
So other than that... well spent the past two evenings with Paul, which have been, to put it mildly, brilliant! Went to go and see Madagascar yesterday... was hillarious! *I like to mmove it, mmove it* And for those who need stand-up advice Eddie Izzard's Circle - Sheer Genius / Eddie Izzard's Sexie - Ten-foot Barge Pole Material
I've got to go and get ready to dash off to Bristol... lil bro's leaving play tonight *tear*... oh don't grow up fast! So need to go and mentally prepare myself for the barrage of "Orite me loverrrrr" and "Ow you doaaaan?" LOL
Matt shall return!
